Women’s Ministry Assistant
I am at America’s KESWICK Women’s and Family Ministry because I believe that God has given me the “desire of my heart” (Psalm 37:4) that He placed in my heart a few years prior to coming on staff in 1995. I am grateful for the opportunities of ministry to come alongside the women in Women of Character, the children in Colony “Kids of Promise”, and the couples in Families for Christ (along with my husband, Stan) while God performs visible change, growth, and healing in their lives, as only He can do! (Psalm 62:5) More…
Born in New Castle, PA, I grew up in a family with a longChristian heritage and involvement in a Bible
believing Church; therefore I was always involved in church-based activities with many friends from the
church family. At age 14 or 15, I made a public profession of salvation trusting Christ as Lord, although I
don’t remember when I did not believe that Jesus was my Savior. I attended Shelton College, Ringwood,
NJ, 1959 – 61, and moved to New Jersey after Stan and I were married in 1961. Completion of my BA in
Elementary Education was postponed until 1976 from Kean University – 3 children and 15 years later. In
1981, I completed a MA in Administration/Supervision, also from Kean University. From 1970 – 1988, I
was employed at a Christian School, with the last four years as Administrator of the Elementary School.
The desire for ministry to women became my passion during a two year course, Vision for Ministry, with
the focus of discipleship and discipling women. Coming on staff at America’s Keswick in 1995, I have had
opportunities to serve at the Front Desk, the Book Store, in Families for Christ as Coordinator, and at
present in the Women’s Ministry. In 2001, I received a Certificate in Counseling from Central Jersey Bible
Institution. Currently, I am in a Biblical Counseling Master’s program at Trinity Seminary.
