Rick Brickey

Chaplain of Operations
I work at America’s Keswick because I am a graduate, and during the time I was in the Colony God did a wonderful work in my heart. As a result of that work He gave me real love for the Colony guys and a desire to help them in any way I can.
I was born in Washington, DC and grew up in Maryland. I married a lady I meet in Church and raised my family in the Christian faith. There was one huge problem and that was I never had a, “walking-talking”, relationship with Jesus. I believed in Jesus and made a profession of faith but the only time He was needed was when there was trouble. As a result I started letting things into my life that should not have been there. That ended in a seven year addiction to drugs that eventually took everything important to me including my family! On February 06, 2002 I entered America’s Keswick Colony of Mercy. There GOD spoke to me in Deuteronomy 7 and told me I was to have no other Gods before Him and that if I would put Him first in my life He would make my pathway straight! Today my life is very exciting because God is on the Throne and my pathway is clear. I became a chaplain at America’s Keswick and graduated four years of Clinical Pastoral Education.
