Diane Hunt
Director of Addiction Recovery Ministries and Acting Director of Development
In 1999, God called me to America’s Keswick to facilitate the birth of the Women of Character Ministry. Since that time, God has nurtured in my heart His love for hurting people that have been impacted by the ravages of addiction.
In July 1983, desperate and seeking relief from 18 years of anxiety and depression, God drew me to Himself and I was saved by His grace. It was 3 more years before my husband and I were prompted to leave the religion of our birth families to pursue a church that aligned itself with the gospel truth of salvation by grace through faith alone. We poured ourselves into church ministries and loved it and the many opportunities to learn and serve. In 1991, I began pursuing a degree in Biblical counseling and in 1992, I entered Biblical Theological Seminary. After receiving a Masters degree, much to my surprise, the Lord led my husband and I to decide to homeschool our 2 children.
In 1999, God called me to America’s KESWICK to facilitate the birth of the Women of Character Ministry. Since that time, God has nurtured in my heart His love for hurting people that have been impacted by the ravages of addiction. Not only has He given me many opportunities to minister through the Addiction Recovery Ministry, He has continued to minister TO me and teach me much about Himself and His grace and mercy. I have grown more as a Christian since coming to America’s KESWICK than all my other years as a believer combined.
